Technical Recommendation Agri-Mek EC™ in potatoes: application timing in a foliar Zebra Chip management program For management of potato psyllids in a Zebra Chip program, apply Agri-Mek EC 12-16 fl oz/A at early detection of adults. Program approach: Agri-Mek EC 12-16 fl oz/A early Initiate your Zebra chip program with an at-planting insecticide like CruiserMaxxPotato or Platinum 75SG. Use of higher label rates in 2012 is recommended. At first detection of psyllid adults, apply Agri-Mek EC 12-16 fl oz/A as a foliar spray. Apply a second AgriMek (or Epi-Mek EC™ 12-16 fl oz/A) spray 7-10 days later. Rotate to another effective psyllid chemistry for next 2 sprays. Agri-Mek is also registered for control of: Colorado potato beetle, Lyriomyza leafminers, and spider mites. Restrictions Adjuvants: a nonionic surfactant or organosilicone-based surfactant, at the manufacturer’s recommended rate, is suggested for potato psyllids. Application method: Ground or aerial applications only, no chemigation. Amount of Water: Do not apply in less than 20 gal. of water/A with ground application equipment. Do not apply in less than 5 gal. of water/A with aircraft. Additionally: do not apply more than 16 fl oz/A per spray. Do not apply more than 2 consecutive Agri-Mek EC sprays.
