2016 Ag Excellence Sustainable Farming Awards The Ag Excellence Sustainable Farming Awards are open to South Australian farmer driven grower groups in SA who can demonstrate that they meet and exceed the criteria of the awards. The 2016 Awards are generously sponsored by PIRSA and Agbyte Application Process Please keep applications to ONE PAGE with supporting photos. All groups that apply will receive acknowledgement within the rural media. The winning group will receive $3,000 to spend on group activities in the coming year that address how the group is creating value for farmers in their region to become more sustainable. The winning group will be required to report on their activities at the 2017 Forum. There will also be a $500 Agbyte encouragement award to support a group that demonstrates innovation in providing value for their grower group members. Awards Theme This years grower group awards are focused on the top five strategic issues identified in a survey of groups conducted in 2015 as being fundamental to long term organisational sustainability. Your application will need to address two of these issues, with an explanation on how your group is responding or plans to respond to these issues.
