It will be the 44th all-time meeting between the conference rivals. The “Starting Five” - Today’s Top Storylines 1) The road team has been victorious in the last six meetings between Liberty and High Point, including four Liberty wins at the Millis Center and two High Point wins at the Vines Center. The last time that the home team won was Feb. 5, 2011, when the Lady Flames recorded a 58-57 victory over the Panthers in Lynchburg. 2) Liberty has enjoyed a considerable amount of success at the Millis Center in recent years. The Lady Flames have notched seven consecutive road victories over High Point and are 15-2 at the Millis Center since the start of the 2008-09 season, highlighted by three Big South Championship titles at the facility. 3) The Lady Flames have played well of late, winning five straight games and six of their last seven decisions. Meanwhile, High Point is looking to snap a three-game losing streak. The Panthers are 1-5 in their last six outings. 4) Liberty is 4-0 in December and will look to finish unbeaten in the month of December for just the second time in program history. The Lady Flames were also undefeated in December 1997, as part of a 28-0 start to the 1997-98 season. 5) The Lady Flames will look to maintain at least a share of the Big South lead. Liberty is currently 2-0 in conference play, putting them in a tie for first place with Coastal Carolina and Winthrop. All three conference co-leaders are in action on Monday.
