Ichetucknee Springs Restoration Plan Ondine Wells Coordinator, Ichetucknee Springs Working Group Normandeau Associates (formerly Pandion) February 10, 2011 Overview of Springs Restoration Planning Process Purpose The Ichetucknee Springs Working Group will facilitate a 3‐year process of developing and implementing a Restoration Plan that will work towards a “desired future condition” for the spring and spring run. Initiating, facilitating, monitoring and tracking restoration activities within the basin will be a primary key focus. Process Ichetucknee Springs Working Group Vision for the “Desired Future Conditions” of Ichetucknee Springs Outline the ecological, hydrological or biological causes of impairment Set benchmarks for reducing impairments Identify Restoration Actions Restoration Plan Restoration Actions Monitoring and Evaluation “Sub‐Groups” in the Ichetucknee Working Group Sub‐groups will meet to define goals and actions for the Restoration Plan.
