Calculating work out of class rate:
Salary:
(New FT salary – Current FT salary)/ FT salary hours = DWC rate
Example:
New salary $5200, Current salary $4950
(5200-4950) / 173.33 = 1.442335
DWC rate is $1.442335
Hourly:
New hourly rate – Current hourly rate = DWC rate
Example:
New hourly rate is $16.30, Current hourly rate is $14.50
16.30 – 14.50 = 1.80
DWC rate is $1.80
