CHART 21 O ccupations 26 Eight occupations in State government experienced more than 2,000 cases involving days away from work. Of these occupations, correctional officers and jailers had the highest number of cases and accounted for 17.5 percent of days-away-from-work cases in State government. No other occupation had more than 5,000 cases. Psychiatric aides and psychiatric technicians both had large numbers of cases in State government but almost no cases in local government.
