sector in which the rate of cases
involving job transfer or restriction
exceeded the rate of cases involving
days away from work in 2008, a trend
that has continued since 1998.
In the goods-producing industries,
mining had the lowest rate for days
away from work, job transfer, or
restriction in 2008. In the serviceproviding industries, finance and
insurance had the lowest rate for
days away from work, job transfer, or
restriction in 2008.
Transportation and warehousing
had the highest rates for days away
from work, job transfer, or restriction
and days away from work among all
industries with a days-away-from-work
rate of 2.5 per 100 full-time workers.
