For the ninth consecutive year in
manufacturing, the rate at which
job transfer or restriction cases
occurred was higher than the rate
for cases with days away from
work. Manufacturing is the only
industry sector in which this was
the case.
In the goods-producing sector,
construction had the highest rate
of days away from work (DAFW)
cases, 2.2 per 100 full-time
employees, and the secondhighest DAFW rate among all
private industry sectors.
