weekly wage was $43 below the national average.

the two counties that are part of the Wilmington,
Delaware-New Jersey-Maryland Metropolitan
Division—New Castle, Delaware ($1,031) and
Cecil, Maryland ($838); only New Castle’s
average weekly wage was higher than
the national average of $898 in
fourth quarter of 2007.
