Great Lakes States: Price Movements of Top Exports
and Other Highlights

Exports from the Great Lakes States, comprised of Illinois,
Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, were
$238.3 billion in trade dollar value in 2016. Prices for the
top export of the region, transportation equipment, rose
0.5 percent for the 3-month period ended in April. Over the
same period prices for chemical and nonelectrical
machinery also rose.
