View scholarships available for the PA program

Physician Assistant Program Scholarships:
ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIPS
*CPHS Alumni Association Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded to a full-time Physician Assistant
student based on financial need and GPA. Preference is given to students who are actively involved with the
CPHS Alumni Association. Separate essay required in the common application.
Physician Assistant Alumni Annual Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded to a full-time Physician
Assistant student with demonstrated financial need and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Physician Assistant Faculty Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded to a Physician Assistant student with a
demonstrated financial need. First preference is given to students from North Carolina. Second preference is
given to students with an interest in the practice of primary care in underserved areas.
*Ransdell Family Fund Scholarship - This scholarship emphasizes advancement of pharmacy healthcare in
North Carolina counties experiencing a shortage of pharmacy professionals. It is awarded to a full-time student
in good academic standing with a 2.5 or higher GPA and demonstrated financial need. The student must agree
to work in an underserved community upon graduation for three (3) years total. Students must express a desire
to bring adequate healthcare to a rural population. Visit the NC State Education Assistance Authority for
information on counties with primary care physician shortages. Separate essay in the common application
required.

ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIPS
Lacy and Mary Collier Physician Assistant Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded to a full-time
Physician Assistant student. First preference is given to students from Cumberland County, second preference is
given to students from North Carolina.
Crow Family Physician Assistant Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded to a full-time student(s) enrolled
in the Campbell University Graduate Physician Assistant Program who demonstrates financial need and a
commitment to a career as a Physician Assistant. First Preference to a resident of the State of North Carolina;
then to any qualified student.
Carlton and Lynell Martin Physician Assistant Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded to a full time
Physician Assistant student. First preference is given to a student who is an employee or family member of an
employee of Martin Abattoir Meats, Inc. Second preference is to a member of Clement Missionary Baptist
Church, Autryville, North Carolina.

Lloyd S. Surles Physician Assistant Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded to a full-time student(s) who
demonstrates financial need and a commitment to a career as a Physician Assistant. 1st preference to residents
of Harnett County; second preference to residents of the state of North Carolina; then to any qualified student.
There are 2 scholarships are awarded annually.
