Rhonda Bray Selected as Advisory Committee Member of the Year
Rhonda Bray received the award for 2008 Advisory Committee Member of the Year at
Athens Technical College. Ms. Bray accepted her award at the annual program advisory
committee meeting that was held at the college on May 1, 2008. Sandi Miller, Program
Chair of Administrative Office Technology, nominated Rhonda for this award. Rhonda
has been a member of the Administrative Office Technology Advisory Committee since
2004 and was unanimously elected chair of that committee in November 2006. Ms. Bray
is currently serving her second term as committee chair.
Sandi Miller stated, “It has been such a great experience and pleasure to be associated
with such a capable, energetic and giving person.” Rhonda has been employed with
Athens Clarke County Public Utilities Department since 2001. She is a member of the
International Association of Administrative Professionals and has served as president,
treasurer, and secretary of the organization.
Athens Technical College began awarding the advisory committee member of the year in
2004. Program chairs nominate an advisory committee member for the award.
