Athens Technical College Becomes A NABCEP PV Entry Level Exam Provider
The National American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners announces that Athens Technical College is an
official NABCEP PV Entry Level Exam provider.
NABCEP promotes quality in renewable energy training and technology by offering PV and solar thermal
installation certification. The Board is designed to raise industry standards and promote consumer confidence
throughout North America.
Congratulations to Ken Roberts and Jill Turenne. They have successfully passed their NABCEP “Photovoltaic
Entry Level Exams” following training this month.
The training is essential for them to teach the green TCCs and has been paid for with the county grant funds.
Mr. Roberts and Ms. Turenne are on their way to becoming two of a very small group of certified photovoltaic
installers in the State of Georgia. Currently there are only eight certified providers in the state.
