Business honor society inducts 18 ATC students
Athens Technical College’s chapter of a national business honor society recently welcomed 18 ATC
students and an ATC staff member into the group.
The Chi Zeta chapter of Alpha Beta Gamma inducted 18 new members during the group’s traditional
induction ceremony, and awarded an honorary membership to Yancey Gulley, director of student affairs, for his
continued support of Alpha Beta Gamma’s campus and community projects.
The ATC business honor society chapter also installed its officer slate for the 2011-2012 year. Charlotte
Van Eman will serve as president with Wayne Martin taking on responsibilities of executive vice president.
Kathy Reber is vice president for fundraising, while Caroline Holland and Cindy Epps will share secretary
duties.
Additionally, the chapter recognized the support of David Floyd, Alpha Beta Gamma co-advisor. Floyd
recently retired and was awarded a plaque in appreciation of his many contributions to the chapter’s operations
over the past six years.

Jacqueline Hamm, Jerry Hampton, Julia Hohman, Angela Hunter, Marsha Jordan, Wayne Martin, Patricia
McLaughlin Shawn Moore Joyce Ray, Kathy Reber, Jenna Threlkeld, Angie Venator, Pam Waggoner and
Keyonus Whaley.
