Life Sciences program
Prospective students seeking admission to a Life Sciences program at Athens Technical College should attend an information session
to learn about the career opportunities available and to make sure they understand the competitive admission requirements. General
information sessions that cover all programs will be held on the Athens Campus at 12:30 pm in Auditorium of the Easom Building
(Building F) (Map) on the following dates:

Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
Information sessions focused on the associate degree program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography are offered in Room A-129 (Building
A) on the Athens Campus at 1:30 p.m. on the following dates:

Contact: Christine Schara (706-425-3127) Attendance is a prerequisite for application to the DMS program. A complete pamphlet about
the career, ATC DMS program, application process, how students are ranked, and forms are included. Attendance is highly
recommended prior to making the decision to pursue a career as a sonographer.
Nursing program
Information sessions focused on the associate degree program in Nursing are offered on the Athens Campus from 1:30 p.m. until 2:20
p.m. in the Auditorium of the Easom Building (Building F) on the following dates:

This session is geared toward students applying for admission for the fall of 2013. Please make sure to read through the PTA program
materials online before attending the information session. Because attendance is required for consideration in the competitive selection
process, late entry will not be allowed. If submitting a form to be used as part of the admission process, a photo ID will be used to verify
the identity of the applicant. Reservations are not required for attendance. Please check this page again before traveling to attend the
session as dates, times, and locations can change because of other required campus or program activities.
