DMS Program Temporarily Suspended
Athens Technical College announces its decision to suspend temporarily its program in Diagnostic Medical
Sonography, effective January 2014. The program’s accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied
Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) allows up to a two-year period of inactive status during which accreditation
can be maintained so that active status can again be sought. Prospective DMS students who wish to explore other
health-related program options at ATC may contact an advisor in the Advisement Office at 706-357-0004 or 706-357
-0005 or call the Admissions Office at 706-355-5004.
