ATC college campuses to host more Caterpillar information sessions
AsofficialswiththeAthensCaterpillarplantgearupforhiringanother100employees,thecompanyhasscheduledseveralinformation
sessionsatAthensTechnicalCollege’scampusesthroughtheBridgingtheGaptoIndustryprogram.
Theinformationsessions,tobeheldatallfourAthensTechnicalCollegecampuses,willincludeashortoverviewabouttheCaterpillar
hiringprocess,followedbyanopportunitytomeetCaterpillaremployeeswhoworkinquality,fabrication,andtheassemblydepartment.
Additionally,representativesofAthensTechnicalCollegeprogramsprovidingtrainingthatcanpreparestudentsforacareerat
Caterpillarwillbeonhandtodiscusstheirprograms.Attendeesareencouragedtobringtheirresumesstrictlyforfeedbackpurposes.
Caterpillarrepresentativeswillnotconductjobinterviewsormakeanyjoboffersduringtheinformationsessions.
CaterpillarannouncedinearlyAprilthatitwouldbeexpandingitsworkforceattheAthensplant,accordingtoastoryintheAthens
