3) Liberty will aim for its first home win over High Point since a 58-57 victory on Feb. 5,
2011. The Panthers have triumphed in each of their last two visits to the Vines Center, becoming the first Big South team to do so since UNCG won four straight road games over
Liberty between the 1993-94 and 1996-97 seasons.
4) Both teams bring winning streaks into Thursday’s game. Liberty has won six straight
home games overall and 11 straight home contests against Big South foes. Meanwhile,
High Point is riding a season-long four-game winning streak.
5) High Point’s Kaylah Keys and Liberty’s Mickayla Sanders are two of the Big South’s top
freshmen this season. During the teams’ first meeting this season, Keys led the Panthers

finish in a 74-41 home win over Longwood, Jan. 23 at the Vines Center.

Feb. 20 and 22, 1997.
• The Lady Flames tied a season high with 10 made three-pointers, falling just one shy of

• Liberty’s five sophomores (Katelyn Adams, Sadalia Ellis, Jaymee Fisher-Davis, Catherine Kearney and Ashley Rininger) are playing an important role for the Lady Flames
during the 2013-14 season.
• The sophomores are scoring 56.1 percent of Liberty’s points thus far, averaging 39.7
points per game.
• Ashley Rininger is leading the way, having improved significantly upon her numbers from
2012-13. She is averaging a team-high 16.3 ppg this season, after scoring 6.9 ppg a year
ago. Rininger was named Big South Women’s Basketball Player of the Week on Dec. 2
and 23.

March 22, 2005.
• Played one of her best games of the season on Jan. 11 against Presbyterian College,
tallying 16 points and five assists. She shot 4-of-4 from the free throw line during the final
1:04 to help seal the victory.
• Set career highs for points (17) and three-pointers made (4) while collecting seven rebounds against Richmond on Dec. 3. Frazier had made two triples in a game 15 times
before doubling that total against the Spiders.
• Tied her then career high with 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds during a comeback victory over Savannah State (Nov. 30)
• Made a successful return from a Feb. 16, 2013 knee injury during the season opener
at Charlotte (Nov. 8). Started and played 29 minutes, contributing three points, four rebounds and a game-high four assists

second-leading rebounder (1,033 boards) and No. 3 in points (1,845 points)
• The tallest player on this year’s team at 6-6, Kearney stands just two inches shorter than

also topped all players in rebounds (11) and blocked shots (3).
