• Tables are defined with the <table> tag. A table is divided
into rows (with the <tr> tag), and each row is divided into
data cells (with the <td> tag).
• A data cell can contain text, images, lists, paragraphs,
forms, horizontal rules, tables, etc.

Controlling Space In and Around Cells
• Cell spacing adds space between cells, making the
table bigger without changing the size of individual cells.
• Cell padding adds space around the contents of a cell,
in effect, pushing the walls of the cell outward.
