Internet Standard of I-Shou University

1. Purpose:
The purpose of ISU's campus internet is to support the administrative
service and academic research, as well as providing other educational
institution research interaction and sharing the information for more
cooperation.
2. The Rule of Operating Network in ISU:
1. In order to obey the spirit of TANet, we established this standard.
2. All use of the campus network must conform the purpose of TANet. It
is prohibit transferring the threatened, slander, harassed, obscene,
and unfriendly information as well as commercial through the
campus network. It is also ban to transfer or download huge amount
of information which is not conform to the original establishing
purpose.
3. If the original writers or owner are willing to provide the legal
commercial software with free or discounted price, school will have to
make a contract and put it on the website first. It might hand to the
TANet commission if there is any necessary.
4. It is prohibit disturbing or damaging other users or the software
system, such as spearing virus, invading not permitted computer or
any other this kind of behavior.
5. It is not allowed to gather the information which is not open or
authorized.
6. It is prohibit having any trading behavior through campus network
without school's permission.
7. If the users break the law or rules, the computer center will provide
related information to law executor.
8. The users' account is personal use only.
9. Please check the campus service before you use the network service;
if there is service in the campus, please cut short the transfer amount.
Please choose the closest resource for operating the internet.
10. If users of ISU network disobey the rule or don't accept the
persuasion, the computer center will stop his/ her right to use the
internet.
11. If there is anything violated this standard, The Computer Center will
punish depending on the seriousness of the matter.
12. The major users of ISU campus network is the faculties and students
in our school.
13. This standard will be practiced after ratified by principal, revising will
be the same.
