Chapter 11: Ex 11-2 and 11-15A in one file, Ex 11-4 and 11-14 in another file
Create two files, Ex11-Inches for Ex 11-2 and 11-15A,
and Ex11-Metric for Ex11-4 and 11-14
Ex 11-2 Just draw two inches threads: First, a combination of A and C, (external, detail), and second, a
combo of B and D, (Internal, schematic, and hatched)
Use your wblocks scaled appropriately and trim as needed.
Ex 11-4 Just draw two metric threads: Combine A and D (External, schematic) for the first, and B and C
(internal , detail and hatched) for the second.
Ex 11-14 in Metric file…spec the hole depth and tap hole based on the example in SP11-1.
Ex 11-15A in Inches…spec the length of bolt as shown in SP11-2. Show as an orthographic view, with
hidden lines indicating the hole major diameter and thread.
