Our Student Voice!
The section of the ASWA newsletter provides a forum for our Social Work Assistant Program students to present their
point of view on important issues of the day, their thoughts and opinions about the profession of social work and their
chosen program of study, the Social Work Assistant Program at Athens Technical College.
If you are a Social Work Assistant program student and would like to have an article
published about you, then we would love to hear from you! Please contact Mrs. Watts via
email about the article you want to write at [email protected]. Thank you and we
can’t wait to hear from you!!
Upcoming Community Service
This holiday season, ASWA officers and members are planning on
making care packages for 8 airmen who will not be able to be
home for the holidays. We would love for you to help out by
donating items for these great men. We will be giving out more
information about this coming up, so be looking for it. We could
really use your help making the packages or if you would rather
donate items then that would be awesome too! Come and show
your love and support for these great American airmen!
ASWA officers and members are also planning on taking a trip
and volunteering our time to the Northeast Georgia Food Bank
on December 14th. If you are interested in joining us, please
contact us. You can contact any of the officers and let them know
that you would like to join us with this project. Thanks for all you
do!
