Dear Athens Technical College Move on When Ready Students:
Financial Aid funding is available to you for your Move on When Ready, MOWR, dual
enrollment classes you will be taking while in high school. Please see the
information below regarding how to apply for your financial aid opportunity.
Appling for financial aid is a simple process that you must do online through
www.gacollege411.org, every semester that you plan to attend college, and now is
time for you to apply. You will fill out the electronic Move on When Ready
application as soon as you register EACH semester!
 FALL Semester deadline to apply is August 1st
 SPRING Semester deadline to apply is December 1st
 SUMMER Semester deadline to apply is April 1st
To apply for financial aid, go to the www.gacollege411.org website to complete the
application. Some important things to remember are:
 Please keep a record of your login information for your gacollege411
account. Do NOT create multiple accounts it will not allow you to
complete the process. Ask you High School Counselor if you have
forgotten your gacollege411
 When inputting your social security number, check it carefully before
you save your application because inputting that number incorrectly
will cause your application to be rejected. If your application is
rejected for any reason, you will have to re-submit it for it to be
processes.
 Save a copy of the confirmation page in case there are any questions
about your aid.

Move on When Ready

Instructions
Move on When Ready, dual enrollment students: The MOWR funding pays full
tuition, all mandatory fees, not lab or supply fees, and all book costs toward your
Move on When Ready dual enrollment classes. NOTE: this funding does NOT count
toward your HOPE cap on the hours used while in high school! It is easy to receive
this funding, so follow the directions below and apply now!
1. Go to the website: www.gacollege411.org
2. Click Sign In to access your account. You should have already created an
account with your high school, so again, do not create multiple accounts.
3. Choose the Financial Aid Planning link on the banner at the top right side of
the page.
4. Scroll down and choose Financial Aid Applications.
5. Click start applying link. Scroll down to the Scholarships and Grants section
and then click on the Move on When Ready Application and begin applying
online.
 If you are a Home Schooled student, you will print out the paper
application and submit this copy to the High School Coordinator at
Athens Technical College for your application to be approved.
6. NOTE: this application must be completed every semester prior to the
semester fee deadlines for your tuition and fees and books to be paid. If
you have not completed this application and your counselor has not
completed their part, you will not be allowed to remain in college classes so it
is imperative that you complete this process.
7. Once complete the application, print a copy for your records and one to
submit to your counselor to assist with completing the process.
8. When applicable, pay your supply or lab fees not covered by this funding
prior to the fee deadline each semester in order to remain in college classes.
