Installing in a Calvin College smart classroom
If you are using CPS in one of Calvin’s smart classrooms, you can install the CPS software from the
network.

Click on the Calvin College applications icon on the desktop.
Click Delivered Applications
Click Installers.
Click CPS_2012_Pull.
Follow the installation instructions.
You will need to restart the computer after you install CPS.
Installing on a laptop computer or non-Smart Classroom
If you are using CPS on a laptop or non-smart classroom computer, you can install the CPS software from
the eInstruction website.
1. Go to www.einstruction.com/support/downloads
2. Download CPS v6.72 (for Windows) (Note: Be careful not to download the Mac version. It is
listed first, so make sure to scroll further down the page.
3. Click Download.
4. Follow the installation instructions.
5. You will need to restart the computer after you install CPS.
Creating a class in CPS (designating which clickers you will be using)

From the Prepare tab, click Settings (from menu bar above) > QuickStart setup
Check the box next Enable QuickStart
In the Class Options box (toward the bottom of the box) > click Create.
Type in the name of the class.
Designate the Lower and Upper range of your clicker set > Click OK.
Un-check Enable QuickStart (at the top of the box) > Click OK.
