SUBJECT: Professional Military Education (PME) Requirements
3. Transfer courses and higher level course other than those listed above may satisfy PME
requirements. Scheduling conflicts may prevent a cadet from taking the courses listed above. To
request a substitute course, you must submit the substituted course and the reason for the request in
writing. You must obtain your Military Science instructor approval prior to submitting the request to
the Professor of Military Science for final approval. All cadets must review and sign their CC
Form 104-R with their military science instructor prior to advancement to the next semester.
Cadets are required to take this document and their CC form 104-R to their academic advisors
as part of their advisement sessions. Discrepancies on that form must be explained with a plan of
action to ensure academic and PME requirements are satisfied prior to graduation and commissioning.
I acknowledge that I must meet all the requirements of my academic major requirements as well as
all of the Professional Military Education requirements prior to receiving my commission in the
United States Army.
