found that there were 85 sleigh bells in all. How many sleigh bells were on each

2) Mrs. Claus was making cookies for the eight reindeer. If she made 1,664 cookies
altogether and placed them in eight (8) different baskets for Dasher, Dancer, Prancer,
Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder and Blixen, how many cookies did each reindeer get?

3) Santa decided he needed to cut down on his cookie consumption. Last year he ate 2
cookies at every household and he visited 3,456 households in just the state of Maine.
How many cookies did Santa eat in Maine last year?
4) Charlie Brown was giving a Christmas Party for his friends. He wanted to give them
candy bags to take home. He put 40 candies into each bag. If he made 9 bags, how
may candies did he use? Show all work.
5) Lucy and Linus made 400 popcorn balls to sell to raise money for the Christmas play.
They asked their friends Marcie, Sally, Charlie, Pig-Pen and Schroeder to help them sell
them. If they all sold an equal amount how many popcorn balls did they each have to
sell? Lucy gave the leftover popcorn balls to Snoopy. How many popcorn balls did
Snoopy get? Show all work.
6) Ebenezer Scrooge purchased a 46 pound turkey to feed some of his friends. If each
friend ate 2 pounds of turkey, how many friends came to Mr. Scrooge’s turkey feast?

4) Omar and Abubakar were making origami stars to give to all their friends. They
wanted to give each friend 30 stars. If they had 9 friends how many stars did they

5) Mrs. Grinch was wrapping presents with ribbons for the children down in Whoville.
She needed 8 feet of ribbon. How many inches of ribbon did she need? Show all work
6) Scrooge and Marley wanted to expand their business. They decided to build another
room for their employees in the back of the building. The perimeter of the square
room was 80 metres. What was the area of the room? Show all work
