Strade Bio 2015

I have been teaching in Montgomery County for 27 years; 24 of them at Stone
Mill. I also taught for many years in Virginia. During my career I have taught
almost every grade level from 1st grade through High School. I have spent the
most time teaching 4th grade, which I love! One of my favorite parts of
teaching is laughing and enjoying the day with the children.
I grew up in Rockville and attended Montgomery County schools. I graduated
from Shepherd University and received my graduate degree from the University
of Virginia. I live in Germantown with my husband and my two sons, Gavin and
Ryan and our sweet cat, Cera. Both of my sons are busy working. Ryan is also in
college. I enjoy scrapbooking, reading and being with family and friends. I am
very close to my parents and my brother’s family and we do a lot of things
together. We love to go out to eat and see new movies and shows.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year with my new class!
