Social Studies- Economics: Identify how transportation links people through the movement of
goods between places.
Math-Economics: Sort partitioned circles and rectangles (including squares) into categories of
equal shares and shares that are not equal Identify and describe halves and fourths of a whole
using Cuisenaire® Rods. Determine multiple ways to partition a geoboard into two and four
equal shares.
Reading & Writing: During weeks 4-7, students read a variety of informational books in order
to support opinion writing projects. Also, students continue to read, study and compose
poetry.
Science: Identify and describe what people can do to meet basic needs and protect the
Environment.
