November 13, 2015 Writer’s Workshop During the month of November the students will continue to draw, dictate, and write in order to narrate a single event in their lives. We are discussing seasons. We are going on walks and collecting evidence of objects from our fall walks. We will also learn about plants. Later on during the month of November we will discuss living things vs. non-living things. In Social Studies we will discuss maps and globes. We will look at landforms. The students will identify landforms such as mountains and hills and bodies of water. Parent Information Thank you to everyone who came to their scheduled parent conference. Remember that Kindergarten students will get their first report card in January. November 11, 12, and 25th are early release days. Please make sure that you are at the bus stop or parent pick-up on time. School ends at 12:55. Please make sure that if your child is going home a different way you let your child’s teacher know.
