Math
We are on the last unit in math. We will continue to build the foundation of counting and cardinality. We will also build the foundation for
addition and subtraction. Giving the students time to grasp the information and strategies in an age-appropriate environment of repeated
experiences builds stronger number sense. Young children often use
their fingers to count on or to model quantities. Kindergarten students
are encouraged to use their fingers as one way to represent quantities.
We will also use the counting on and counting back strategies to solve
problems.
