ACTION REQUIRED: None Men’s Soccer DISCUSSION: Mr. Littlepage will introduce head men’s soccer coach, George Gelnovatch, whose team finished a successful 2009 season with a 19-3-3 record. Mr. Gelnovatch’s team won the program’s first Atlantic Coast Conference Championship since 2004 and its tenth overall ACC title. The team entered its twenty-ninth consecutive NCAA tournament, this year as the overall #2 seed, and defeated previously unbeaten University of Akron in the title game. UVA won its sixth soccer national championship and the program’s first since 1994. Mr. Gelnovatch will report on highlights of his team’s championship run. 5
