CAT AnvANCEMENT PROGRAM
The 4-H Cat-Advancement Program (CAP) will:

Make your project more interesting.
Help you learn about cats, cat care, companionship, showing your cat, and
responsibilities of cat ownership.
Help you develop greater skills with cats.
Provide you new enjoyable experiences.
Allow you to advance according to your ability, interest and enthusiasm.
This prograrn will help you learn more about cats. You select the options of your choice, do
them to the best of your ability, and move up the ladder of success.
. You must do ten cat options for each step and three for each of the other groups: Personal
Development and Citizen Pride for each step up the Advancement Program. With the approval
of the leader, you may develop your own options.
Have your leader. or parentinitial each option when you complete it. When you have completed
the required options-ten cat and three in each of the other groups, your leader will order a4-H .
Advancement Certificate;foryou.. Then. ten more, and move up the advancement ladder another
step, and on up until you reach the top. You may do options for higher steps in advance, if you .
wish.

This is the first step in the Cat Advancement Program, or CAP. When you have completed ten
(10) skill options and three (3) personal development options; you are qualified to complete

This is the. second step in the 4-H Cat Advancement Program. When you pass ten (10) skill
options and three (3) personal development options, you are qualified to complete Step Two ..
