Students will begin researching an energy source to gather information to compose both an informative and opinion piece about their energy source. Students will also be working on strategies to improve their writing by editing their work for proper capitalization, language use, punctuation and spelling. Words their Way will continue to be our program for improving spelling and learning about spelling patterns. Science In Science we will continue learning about elements of force and motion. We will also continue to look at the engineering design process as part of our STEM focus. Social Studies In Social Studies we will focus on leaders of the American Revolution and look at important turning points in U.S. history.
