Students will also continue to work on writing a good paragraph. Students will use strategies to improve their writing by editing their work for proper capitalization, language use, punctuation and spelling. Words their Way will continue to be our program for improving spelling and learning about spelling patterns. Social Studies In Social Studies we will continue to examine the complex events that led to the abandonment of the Articles of Confederation and the eventual adoption of the United States Constitution. Science In Science we will continue to learn about elements of electricity. We will also use the engineering design process as part of our STEM focus.
