Writing
In writing we will continue researching and
writing facts about important American
Historical figures to prepare for our Living
History Museum in January. Students will also
continue to work on writing a good paragraph.
Students will use strategies to improve their
writing by editing their work for proper
capitalization, language use, punctuation and
spelling. Words their Way will continue to be
our program for improving spelling and learning
about spelling patterns.
Social Studies
In Social Studies we will continue to examine
the complex events that led to the
abandonment of the Articles of Confederation
and the eventual adoption of the United States
Constitution.
Science
In Science we will continue to learn about
elements of electricity. We will also use the
engineering design process as part of our
STEM focus.
