Report Cards
Third quarter report cards will be
distributed on April 22nd. Please check
your child’s homework folder, sign, and
return the envelope so that we know you
have received the report card. Feel
free to contact your child’s teacher if
you have any questions/concerns.
Math
In math we will be working on the
measurement topic of Operations
and Algebraic Thinking by:
Third Grade Play
This year, third grade will be
presenting the musical, ”Great
Americans of the Twentieth Century.”
Parts have been assigned to the
students based on the tryouts. If your
child has a part in the play, please help
him or her memorize their lines. Have
them practice speaking loudly, clearly,
and with expression as they practice at
home.
All third graders will be part of the
chorus.
We will also send out more
information on the play and rehearsal
schedule via email once it is finalized.
We are still looking for parent
volunteers to help us with the play
rehearsals.


Representing and solving one
and two-step word problems
using the four operations
(add, subtract, multiply,
divide)
Fluently multiplying and
dividing within 100
Students should be practicing
their multiplication and division
facts at home daily.
Final Play Performances on Friday,
June 10th, 2016, at 9:45 and 2:00.
