WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well it is hard to believe that the school year has come to an end, well
almost.
It has been a fantastic year in 5th grade here at Waters Landing. The 5th grade team wants to thank all of the parents and guardians for all of your help and support this school year. We could not have
done it without you! It has been our pleasure to work with you and
your child/children this year.
For those of you transitioning to Middle School for the first
time, it will be fine! There is a great staff at MLK to help your child
through their first few days, and if you need some reassurance, they
are there to help you too. For those of you who are sending a second,
third or more to MLK, you already know the drill, so sit back and relax.
Again thanks to all of you this school year, as a fifth grade team
we really could not have completed all that we did without your help
and support!
5th GRADE PROMOTION
Here are the simple details:
Date: Thursday, June 12th, 2014
Location: Seneca Valley High
School
Time: 11:30am-1:30pm
5th GRADE PROMOTION Continued
Dress/Attire for students:
Male Students: should wear khaki style dress pants with a collared
shirt. Dress shirts and ties are optional. No shorts or t-shirts.
Female Students: should wear dress, skirts, dress pants with an appropriate shirt/top. No shorts, t-shirts, or flip-flops.
If you are bringing your child to SVHS, please arrive by 11:15 am as
we will need to get students lined up in the correct order for the processional. Any student arriving late will be unable to participate in
the celebration. The promotion event may end prior to 1:30, we reserved enough time for individuals to take photographs with fellow
students, friends, and/or teachers.
Finally, if you plan to take your child with you after the promotion
event, that’s great. However, we will need you to sign them out on the
appropriate sheet. Ms. Miller, Mr. Baez, and Mr. Plant have agreed to
assist with this process.
Before leaving SVHS with your child please sign out with the following individuals:
Mr. Baez for Ms. Cook’s students
Mr. Plant for Mr. Evans’ students
Ms. Miller for Mr. Warner’s students
