September was a very busy month in
kindergarten. We accomplished so
much! We have completed our mClass
reading assessments & are currently
administering the state-mandated KRA
(Kindergarten Readiness Assessment).
Homework

We will focus on
subitizing, writing
numerals, and
representing numbers.
Green Alphabet Books go home on Monday and
should be sent back to school on Friday.
Directions are on the inside cover or back
cover of the book (depending on your
child’s teacher), or were sent home in the
beginning.
Remember to read nightly with your child.
Write the title of the book and sign the
Weekly Reading Homework Log. Return the
completed log to school (in your child’s
folder) every Friday. If your child turns
in their completed logs all month, they
will earn a free personal pizza from Pizza
Hut.
We will focus on four
letters and their
sounds this month.

When sending money into school with your child,
please send it in an envelope labeled with your
child’s name, teacher’s name, and the purpose of the
money (lunch, donations, book fair, field trip. etc.).
Firefighters will
be visiting us to
talk about fire
