First Grade Newsletter
Curriculum Corner
In math, the
first graders will be
learning place value and
representation of 2digit numbers. We will
be composing and decomposing them in various ways. Additionally
we will working on addition and subtraction
situations and problem
solving strategies.
Students who demonstrate readiness will
work on enrichment
activities as needed.
Math groups are fluid,
we will assess student
understanding throughout the year and regroup accordingly.
In science, we
will be finishing up our
