ASG – 3 ASU – 5 ENU – 4 ENG – 2 3. SFS – General Items Sarah thanked the schools for their assistance with the inactivation process. The numbers seemed to be much like those in Fall 2014. This is a significant decrease in the number inactivated from years past. 4. Schedule of Classes Update  The SOC Team is busy completing the Spring 2016 Schedule of Classes. Please remember that SIS access will be removed at 5pm on Friday, Sept. 25th for us to run room allocation for the Spring Schedule of classes  There was a question raised regarding this date however, this date was publicized during the Spring Galley process.  We have not pulled J‐Term forward so scheduling for this term is not available as of today. We will send an announcement when J‐Term is available for scheduling. 5. Academic Calendar Update  Fall 2016 – Spring 2017 dates are due soon  Please remember that the exception for special dates was for two academic years only. 6. Veterans Benefits – Update  All requests for benefits have been processed and certified as to the enrollment status for each beneficiary.  Tuition and Fees will be processed over the next few weeks.  Choice Act o Available to all dependents/spouses who are using Chapter 33 VA Educational Benefits o Will provide in‐state tuition for out of state students without changing their residency status o See the UREG website for more information or send any inquiries to [email protected] 7. Intermediate Honors Update  All recipients have been placed in the appropriate student group  There will be an email sent out soon to request volunteers to assist during the ceremony 8.

Degree Conferral Update August Degree Conferral is complete and diplomas are ordered “Who is your backup?” Many of our school contacts do not have a backup in place in case of emergency UREG will develop a list of backups for the schools UREG will review possibilities to have processes available for the school contacts The school contacts will share processes that they have created so that all schools may review in order to create their own processes  Status of these projects will be on going 10.
