Pertemuan 12 & 13
1. Identify the threat of Database Security and give example in the real world
2. An organization has one Database Administrator (DBA) to organize and manage 20
database servers. This DBA has all the password and authorization to access and do
anything in those servers. Is this a good situation, regarding the database security?
3. Due to insufficient electricity surge, a database server has broken-down and lost all the
data. What should the organization do to collect the data back? How could we prevent
this situation?
4. The director has heard that an e-commerce organization has been alarmed by
comments she has heard to the effect that the security of their web site may be
compromised if efficiency is increased by building APIs into Web Server. Write a short
report explaining the basis for these comments, with recommendations on how best to
safeguard security in this situation.
5. What is encryption and what is it used for? Make example in the real world
6. If a web database system provides anonymous users with open access, how then can
security be ensured?
