What is the Macklin Business Institute?
The Gordon and Marilyn Macklin Business Institute (MBI) at
Montgomery College is a distinctive honors program that
provides a wide range of innovative, high-quality business
education opportunities.
MBI was founded in 1999 as a sophomore-level honors business
program and has since achieved great success. MBI’s students
have successfully transferred to top business schools and
secured valuable scholarship assistance. After much planning,
MBI is expanding to a two-year honors program which will
enhance the experiential learning opportunities and business
education possibilities for its students.
