About the Survey
Southern University at Shreveport’s (SUSLA) Strategic
Planning Survey is designed to gather perceptions
regarding areas for institutional improvement and guide
the development of the strategic plan. The university
administered the survey to four stakeholder groups:

members reveal that many have a positive impression of
SUSLA. Over half (64 percent) describe the university
with positive terms such as “outstanding,” “embracing
the challenge,” and “success.” Other respondents
highlight the university’s ability to offer accessible
opportunities (36 percent) and diversity (36 percent).
