Dear Parents and Guardians,
The Earth and Space Science Semester B, 2014
Exam will be held between June 8and 12.
To insure that all students are successful on the
exam I request that your son or daughter:
1. Attend at least two BCR (Brief constructed
Response) Writing Sessions to be held during 8th grade lunch. During the
sessions, students will work with other students and compose responses to
the BCR’s listed on the county review sheet. Two of the BCR’s will be
selected for the exam and make up 15% of the total exam score. The two
sessions will be held during “A” Lunch on Monday, 6/1 and Tuesday,
6/2.
2. Review nightly for 20-30 minutes, the exam vocabulary and questions from
the county review packet as well as prior worksheets and quizzes from the
third and fourth quarters. The county review along with a key is posted on
Edline.
