Researchs:
1. Low temperature matrix isolation/Infrared spectrometer technique.
* Study of oxidation of volatile organic compounds – isolation and
characterization of intermediates and product, and possible reaction
mechanism.
* Photolysis of organic compounds – isolation of free radical and analysis of
photolysis product.
2. Study of catalyst reaction on zeolite surface.
* Study of reaction mechanism of VOCs with ozone passing through zeolite.
3. Theoretical calculation.
Calculate the vibrational frequency and energy of molecules and compare
with the experimental results to identify the new product, and proposed
reasonable reaction mechanism.
Experimental Equipments:
1. Cryogenic System : temperature reach ~ 10 K。
2. Vacuum System : pressure reach ~ 10-7 torr。
3. Detection System : FTIR , GC, GC/MS, HPLC, NMR。
4. Calculation Software: Gaussian 03 software.
