Research
The primary research interests of our group are design and synthesis of organic electro-optics materials and
related devices. The relative research works include molecular design and preparation of modified organic
electro-optics materials, structure characterization, physical property measurements and electric property testing
of related devices. The aim of molecular modification in materials is to modify molecular chains to meet
specific requirements in optical, thermal and processing properties. Another research interests focus on the
development of flexible transparent substrate with high heat resistance and excellent optical transparency by
utilizing nano-hybrid materials technique.
On-going research topics are:
■ Molecular design, synthesis, and photovoltaic property of organic materials and their application in
optoelectronic device.
■ Dye sensitized solar cells.
■ Polymer solar cells.
■ Organic-inorganic hybrid materials and nanocomposites.
■ Preparation, characterization, and physical properties of polymer materials.
