Federal Pell Grant
Federal Pell Grant award amounts are contingent upon sufficient funding by the federal government and are subject to change. Federal Pell
Grant awards are prorated based upon the numbers of credits a student is enrolled for the semester. No other action is necessary.
North Carolina Need Based Scholarship
Full time (12 or more credits) to meet eligibility for 100% of award amount or three-quarter time enrollment to meet eligibility for 50% of award
amount is required for this award to be disbursed to a student. No other action is necessary.

Federal Work Study
Contracts are sent by email to students by the Office of Financial Aid during the weeks before registration. Student’s must bring an ORIGINAL
driver’s license, social security card and a bank account deposit slip to complete the contract, W-4, NC-4, I-9 and direct deposit form. Payroll
funds will be deposited into the student’s bank account through direct deposit, based on the number of hours worked.
Outside Scholarship
Outside Scholarship are awarded upon notification of the scholarship. Once the funds are received by Campbell University, they will be
disbursed to the student’s account following Campbell University’s disbursement schedule.
The following awards from Campbell University do not require further action unless stated otherwise from the Department whom
awarded the scholarship.

Campbell University Endowed Scholarships
Endowed scholarships are awarded in pending status. In order to activate the scholarship and avoid cancellation, please write a thank you
letter/card to the donor(s) of the scholarship and turn it in to the Endowed Scholarship Program Office. The donor’s name, address, and a
sample thank you note are provided in the Initial Notification Letter that was emailed to you from the Endowed Scholarship Office. If you no
longer have the donor’s name and address please contact the Endowed Scholarship Office.

Undergrad Federal Stafford Direct Subsidized & Unsubsidized Loan
To accept and process the awarded loan, go to:

the loans to be processed. Loans must be processed prior to the end of the semester.
Graduate Federal Stafford Direct Unsubsidized Loan

the loans to be processed. Loans must be processed prior to the end of the semester.
Federal Parent Plus Direct Loan

Federal Graduate Plus Direct Loan

Loans must be processed prior to the end of the semester.
*Students must request deferment of the Graduate PLUS Loan from their lender each year. Deferment is NOT automatic. *The Graduate
PLUS Loan is available only to graduate and professional level students. (Some 1st and 2nd year Pharmacy students may not qualify. If
you are a P1 or P2, please contact financial aid for more information.)
Outside Private Loan
To apply for an Alternative Private loan, you will need to make an application online with the lender of your choosing or apply through our
preferred lender list on the ELM website at: http://www.elmselect.com/#/
