We are off to an excellent start! The turnout at Back to School Night
makes it apparent to everyone that we have set our sights for a
great year! So many parents interested in knowing what is going on
with their child’s education – that’s fantastic! Not only are we
interested in our children’s education, our sense of community is
growing as well. The turnout at the Redland Fall Festival and the
Magruder Cluster Night makes that apparent!
Our focus right now is to reach our $6,000 goal with our 1-2-3
Fundraiser – so we don’t have to have a spring fundraiser. We are
still short $2,296. THANK YOU to all who have made a donation. If
you have not sent in a donation yet please do consider. The funds
we are raising will directly benefit your student. The PTA supplied
each student with their first agenda book. The PTA funds the honor
role celebrations, student awards and incentives and 6th grade
Outdoor Ed Reptile Man. We support the Redland Respect
program, curriculum support requests from the staff, and more. Not
sure how much to give – think about how much you would spend on
wrapping paper or candles and write a check for that amount. Once
you write your check send it into the main office marked PTA
fundraiser.

about upcoming opportunities. Stick
around after the meeting for 15mins. to
see the layout of the land – where and
how to make copies, where to get the
supplies, where the PTA closet is, etc
LOOKING FOR A VOLUNTEER to coordinate the fall
luncheon in November for the staff. Grab a friend and give it a
try. We are here to help guide you through the process. We will
