Unbelievable – It’s November already!
So much has happened and so much is ahead.
Thank you to all the PTA supporters out there. We are doing
a great job providing fun student socials, tokens of
appreciation to our staff, curriculum support, office help and
more. None of this could happen without the dedicated group
of parents we are. But the job is still not done. There are
many months of school left and much to do. Let’s keep this
energy going! Please keep a look out for upcoming
information on a planning meeting for International Night to
be held in February.
Great things happening in November – Redland’s Got Talent,
conferences, you get a night off of cooking on the 13th, honor
roll celebrations, alcohol and drug awareness presentation,
and Thanksgiving. Mark your calendars today so you don’t
miss out on any of it.
Sure hope to see all you and your friends at the “Your
Children Matter” Presentation next Tuesday!

Guest speaker – Steve Chaikin, Assistant States Attorney’s Office
Sponsored by the RMS and SGMS PTAs and Principals
and the Brave and Bold Coalition
** The presentation will be an informal discussion of what is
happening in our community, how children are getting alcohol and
other drugs, and how to help them navigate unexpected situations
that put them in harm’s way. Assistant State’s Attorney Steve Chaikin
will talk about current, local trends in underage substance abuse and
what parents can do to help their children make good decisions.
Be ready to open your mind to information that you may not
realize you need!

a great success! THANK YOU to the many parent and
many staff volunteers that evening – without you we could
not have such events. Over 200 Redland students enjoyed
the evening.

those of you who would like one – join the PTA and we
have one for you.

NOVEMBER STAFF APPRECIATION
Chili Bar
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10th the PTA will be
providing dinner for the Redland Staff in
order to provide a warm and healthy break
during conference time. The meal will be
served from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm. Your help
and contributions are greatly appreciated.

running the fundraiser this year! They sure helped get wind
in our sail! THANK YOU to all the parents and staff
that have participated and put wind in our sail. We have
made $4024 to date.

PARENTS and STAFF – we have 201 members to date!!!
1 member over our goal. 67 more members ten last year.
We are excited to have such a big crew this year!
