Vocabulary: adjectives, adverbs, context clues, compound words, shades of meaning, real life connections, prefixes, and root words. Literary Text: rhythm and meaning, character/setting/plot, character’s point of view, ask and answer questions, characters’ response to events and challenges, story structure, o o Opinion: ideas, development, state an opinion about a book, supply reasons that support the opinion, sentence fluency-word choice, linking words, commas in a greeting and closing, expand and rearrange sentences, provide a conclusion statement for the book review.
