Undergraduate College Credit Information
Submitting Grades for Qualifying Students
Each teacher/school must email their qualifying students’ course average
and stanine scores to Deborah Cooper, [email protected], by July 1st. An
electronic copy of the grade report template will be sent to PLTW
teachers at the end of April. Privacy laws do not allow PLTW’s
assessment company to share its data. RIT will keep this data confidential
and will not share it.
Undergraduate College Credit Registration
PLTW teachers will be receiving an electronic copy of the parent’s letter
and the registration form at the end of April, 2016 to distribute to their
qualifying students in June. The parent letter and the registration form is
also found on our website. If you have any questions, please contact
Deborah Cooper.

Summer Core Training
Registrations for Summer Core Training is now open on the PLTW
website! All information about Core Training at RIT can be found on our
website. We would like to wish everyone attending CT a great class and
a special thank you to all of our NY Master Teachers who will be teaching

2016 PLTW Summit
PLTW Summit 2016, held March 20-23 in Indianapolis, was the premier
gathering of passionate and committed individuals who work together
every day to empower students to develop the knowledge and skills they
need to thrive in an evolving world. More than 1,800 attendees — from
students to those in the education, government and business sectors —
convened to share strategies for making classroom learning relevant,

Outfitting your PLTW Classroom
The updated Program Inventory and Supplier Workbooks as well as the updated Purchasing Manual
Instructions for the 2016-17 school year are now available. Use this information to budget for the
upcoming school year or to start purchasing your equipment and supplies.
Updated Computer Specifications are also now available.
RIT Upcoming Events and Programs
Imagine RIT
On May 7, 2016 from 10AM – 5PM RIT will be hosting IMAGINE RIT Innovation + Creativity Festival. This
is a FREE – Rain or Shine event offered for the seventh year on the RIT Campus. Visit Imagine RIT for

College and Careers
If you have students who might be interested in learning about RIT, the summer College and Careers
programs this summer offer that opportunity. The two-day career conferences are July 22-23, 2016 and
August 5-6, 2016. They are designed to help students, who will be entering their senior year in the fall, gain
the experience and knowledge necessary to start making career decisions about their future. The visits
include interactive academic sessions, accommodations in the residence halls and a separate optional
program for parents. Additional information is available here.
